Nutrient management on VNR Bihi plant during Monsoon

During monsoon due to rain the nutrient usually travels/leach away from the root zone, which
makes it unavailable to the plant. Plants have a constant need of nutrients for growth. If we try
to give nutrients through drip in more wet soil, then it will not be available in the area due to
high moisture.

How can we administer nutrients during monsoon months?

a) Nutrient management can also be done through drip in dry or low moisture soils.
b) During monsoon months when it rains continuously then we can nourish the plant
through foliar spraying of nutrients during dry day in the gap of rains.

Nutrient Source DilutionDays of interval

Spraying with the same mixture of the above nutrients is suitable and less expensive.
